1. an even balance; equilibrium.Balance. We all know what it means, but do we know what it looks like in our daily lives?
Finding an equilibrium in our everyday lives begins by allocating more time to the things we really want to do. Obtaining a healthy work-life balance might mean more vacations, spending time with loved ones, or simply relaxing on your patio with a cool drink. Whatever you envision, achieving it is possible without having to forfeit your plans for tomorrow.
Like anything in life, execution is everything. People talk about living their dreams but few actually do – not because their dreams aren’t important to them, but because they don’t know where to start. Through a customized and comprehensive financial plan, I can help you work toward your long-term goals while still enjoying today.
What’s getting in the way of your financial dreams?

I am…
Fee-based: Unlike my commission-based counterparts who are paid by selling financial products, I do not accept compensation based on product sales. Rather, as a fee-based financial advisor, only my clients pay me for the work I do. By being completely transparent in the fees that I charge, I believe I am able to provide more comprehensive advice to further strengthen my relationships with clients.
Independent: I’m an independent financial planner, not an employee of an investment or insurance company. My independence is one of the primary reasons I’m able to offer client-focused advice. I’ve registered with Cambridge Investment Research Advisors, Inc., a large corporate registered investment advisor that supports several thousand independent financial professionals like myself nationwide. With the support of Cambridge, I am free to focus on helping others rather than on making sales.
“If you don’t have time for what matters, stop doing things that don’t.”
What I Do
If you’ve ever gone to the gym on your own with the goal of improving your fitness level, you know it’s easier sticking to a routine over the first couple months. What starts as an invigorating new activity, however, can turn into a slog. Without a personal trainer to keep you on track, you might eventually lose interest and quit going regularly in month three, four, or five.
The same can be said for financial planning. You need someone with experience to hold you accountable to accomplish your financial goals. You could say I’m a personal trainer for your finances: I support you in reaching your goals and assess your progress toward those goals.
Comprehensive Financial Planning
You deserve financial advice tailored to your needs, which can be developed only after thorough analysis of your values, goals, and concerns. Like a complicated puzzle, I can help you fit the different areas of your finances together.
By taking a comprehensive approach to your finances, I identify areas of your financial affairs that need attention and work with you on an ongoing basis. I also serve as your single point of contact to ensure a coordinated approach to your financial future, which includes working with other professionals such as CPAs or attorneys.
My planning services include, but are not limited to:
- Investment advice
- Retirement planning
- Cash and debt management
- Estate planning
- Asset allocation
- Education planning
My Values-based Approach
You can make good decisions with money, or you can make bad ones. My approach to financial planning recognizes money as a tool, but only to the extent it is used to help you do the things that are important to you. I believe the more you can align your finances with your values, the happier and more fulfilled you will become. And the more you delegate those tasks, the more time you’ll have for items you deem most important.
To reach any unfamiliar destination, you need a road map or GPS for navigation. I help my clients uncover their values from the start, and turn that information into a financial road map specifically tailored to them. Any advice I then give is based on that person’s unique road map.
